Position Title: Special Education Teacher Location: Shapleigh Reports To: Building Administration/ Special Education DirectorPosition Start Date: 8/2023Required Certification: 282 Application Deadline: Until a qualified candidate is foundThe Kittery School District is currently seeking a full time special education teacher. The ideal candidate is someone who can personalize learning for students and engage children and adults in a dynamic way. The special educator will work in the context of a thriving and cohesive team. The candidate must know how to craft IEPs that are accurate and understood by families, students and colleagues.

A positive attitude and the love of middle school students is essential for this position! You must be able to pass a background test through the State of Maine Education Department.
