Job Summary:

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO) program as a Dashboard Analytics Developer, Sr. Work with technical teams to design and implement data collection tools and techniques to ensure the appropriate integrity, frequency, and confidence is achieved. Performs data discovery, cleansing, validation, and data relationship management functions. Designs data visualization mock-ups and business intelligence platform-based prototypes based on customer requirements. Ensures data visualizations reflect the appropriate context to inform decision-making. Works with technical teams to design and iterate dashboards based on customer feedback.

Minimum qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional work experience
• Possesses knowledge of appropriate data sources to address the specific requirements of projects for monitoring, characterization, analysis and modeling
• Performs scientific research, scientific writing and editing, including the writing and editing of project products to established government standards for the targeted science and lay audiences, proofreading of draft and final documents
• Works independently
• Attends meetings and workshops to present on project work, participate in discussions
• Master’s degree in Healthcare, Science, Computer Engineering or related scientific, technical, or clinical discipline or 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in the VA
• Experience implementing Electronic Health Records

• Full-Time Direct Hire
