Amherst Orthodontics is looking for a Records/Sterilization Technician to join our well-established, quality practice in Amherst, NH. This is a perfect position in which you can start your orthodontic career!
Our goals include providing exceptional patient care, preserving, and continually strengthening the patient-doctor relationship, fostering an inclusive culture, and fully supporting our team members.
What you will be doing - key responsibilities:
- Greet patients, tour them through the office, take panoramic x-rays and patient photographs.
- Upload orthodontic records.
- Partner with our Treatment Coordinator in successfully integrating new patients into the practice.
- Take ownership of the records room
- Maintain sterilization log.
- Facilitate patient flow by cleaning and resetting clinic chairs as efficiently as possible.
- Consistently keep sterilization process moving, as the flow of instruments doesn’t stop.
- Responsible for restocking, order necessary supplies and ensure the proper maintenance of all equipment.

What you bring – qualifications:
- Experience within a dental/medical clinical setting is an asset.
- Radiology/X-Ray License (asset)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community.
- Keen attention-to-detail and time management skills.
