Full-Time Substitute Teacher

Our Full-time Substitute Teacher would serve as Yu Ming's "in-house substitute" to support at our campuses when a teacher is out. When not serving as a substitute teacher, the Full-Time Substitute will report to campus to provide additional support for classroom teachers and supervision duty staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach all academic areas based on the provided lesson plan
• Supervise students in the classroom, in the cafeteria, or on the blacktop
• Follow school expectations to ensure the safety of the students

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• B.A. or B.S.
• Appropriate California substitute teaching permit

Preferred

• Experience as a substitute or classroom teacher highly preferred
  
• Superb interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively
• Flexibility and adaptability to change
• Maturity, humility, strong work ethic, sense of humor, and a solutions-oriented attitude

COMPENSATION

$230/day
