Ecoplant is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to help drive the company’s continued expansion in the United States & Canada by building strong customer and partner relationships, providing technical and analytical insights around our customers' compressed air process, and driving strong revenue growth by selling new business. You will work closely with established channel partners to identify, qualify, and close new business with existing customers and new customers. You will be responsible for training our channel partners on the Ecoplant offering and partner with them to achieve your assigned sales target. Specific responsibilities include:


  • Be the product specialist for the Ecoplant offering, providing technical and commercial support to your sales channel partners

  • In partnership with your sales channel, build and manage a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities to achieve your assigned annual sales targets

  • Develop and publish value-based proposals based on identified customer needs, using information provided by your sales channel partner and the customer

  • Partner with the sales channel as needed to support commercial activities, such as customer presentations, positioning the Ecoplant offering, and managing through customer objections

  • Develop and enhance sales tools utilized by the sales channel partners to qualify new customers, including estimating value delivered and solution cost

  • In partnership with sales leadership and training group, build and execute a sales activation / training plan for your sales channel partners

  • Act as the liaison between your sales channel partners and the Ecoplant support team, including product management, IT / OT architecture / data security review, solution design, etc.

  • Provide feedback to product development and R&D for continuous product improvements/enhancements.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with industrial compressed air systems.

  • Minimum 5 years of technology-related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting experience.

  • Ability to prospect, identify, pursue, and close new revenue opportunities

  • Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office suite (including Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel)

  • Strong technical, sales, presentation, and listening skills.

  • Proven track record of consistent customer growth and quota achievement.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and self-motivation.

  • Proven track record of building relationships with strategic customers and partner executives. Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solutions


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field

  • Prior CRM experience

  • Exposure to “C” level & value-based selling situations, with experience selling at the corporate enterprise level

  • Prior experience conducting air audits or air assessments
