A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CLASS A CDL DRIVER
As a Class A CDL Driver, you play a vital role in the operations of our company. Before getting on the road, you carefully inspect your truck and trailer. If you come across any issues or hazards, you immediately report them to the supervisor. You load and hook up the trailer, ensuring that everything is secure. Safety is always your priority as you drive to complete dedicated deliveries to single customers as well as multi-stop loads.
When you reach each destination, you unload the delivery with care. After completing your route, you unhook the trailer and make sure to report any problems to the supervisor. You always comply with trucking rules and regulations regarding size, weight, and route designations. As you drive, you prioritize keeping an open line of communication with dispatch. You love being on the move each day in this truck driving role!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid CDL A driver's license
- At least 3-6 months of experience with tractor-trailers
