1stChoice Tutors is looking for a qualified Math tutor to support students at our East Cobb location in-person.

The candidate must be proficient in Tutoring up to Pre-Calculus. (Calculus and SAT/ACT Prep Experience is a great bonus!)

The candidate must be a subject matter expert (ready to tutor from day 1) and must have experience working with students in a tutoring or classroom setting.

Education: Bachelor's (Preferred but not a deal breaker)

Responsibilities:

• Tutor Math 1-on-1 or in small group setting of 3 students max
• Give students diagnostic test to identify Math skill gaps and establish baseline scores
• Create customized learning plans and study material to help students learn
• Measure and track students' progress and give parents feedback

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching
• Math Major or a related STEM field with heavy math load
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Great servant-leadership traits

Benefits: Flexible schedule

Schedule: 2, 3, or 4 hour shifts on weekdays and/or 5-7 hours on Saturdays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
