The mission of the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences is the development of professional health care practitioners through innovation, individualized, and quality classroom, clinical, and distance education.

GENERAL SUMMARY





The University Representative is responsible for recruiting qualified students for the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS) programs. The University Representative is responsible for planning and implementing all regional recruitment efforts for USAHS within a specified geography and will support the overall marketing and admissions strategic plan for USAHS.




The successful candidate will have thorough and first-hand understanding of the professional development and advanced graduate needs of potential students, as well as familiarity with the rapidly changing dynamics of the marketplace. The University Representative will be the regional representative for the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. In that role, the University Representative must have exceptional presentation, communication and organizational skills, as well as an obvious and infectious passion for the professional development of potential students and the value of higher education.




The positions will work remotely, but must live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania or Washington D.C. as they will attend and provide coverage for events in Washington D.C. , Philadelphia, Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey.




ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Conduct 10-15 on campus or in field activities per month, including-but not limited to-information sessions, visits to undergraduate institutions, and in-service programs.


  • Publicize and market USAHS within a specific geography by attending local, regional and national conferences and events, and participating in relevant activities in local communities.


  • Understand and present USAHS’ programs and other related degree program offerings to potential students.


  • With support from the Marketing and Admissions teams, coordinate invitations, room setup, registrations, and materials for each session.


  • Cooperate with other University Representatives to plan appropriate and strategic recruitment efforts for all of USAHS’ degree programs.


  • Build relationships with current students as well as alumni to identify new group potential and new opportunities to present USAHS programs, residencies and fellowships.


  • Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all USAHS degree programs, and the regulatory, operational and pedagogical complexities of the education industry.


  • Assist in other field-based efforts on behalf of USAHS as required.


  • May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.




TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Significant regional travel (60% or greater) is required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor's degree required, with a background in education strongly preferred.


  • Must have 2-5 years of experience in an education related field.

WORK ENVIRONMENT



Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment but may involve exposure to moderate noise levels. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for six to eight hours daily and includes physical demands associated with a traditional office setting, e.g., walking, standing, communicating, and other physical functions as necessary.
