Responsibilities:
Equity Research Analysts provide formal independent investment recommendations to advisory clients via published reports and financial models. Their internal and external communication takes the form of written research reports, personal conversations and meetings, and media appearances.
The Research Analyst will focus on supporting the coverage of the Clean Energy sector in the U.S. as well as covering his/her own stocks. The Research Analyst will support the Senior Research Analyst in the sector will be responsible for building, reviewing and maintaining financial databases and models, analyzing company and industry data, building an investment thesis, publishing investment-driven research reports and notes, and meeting with corporates, investors, media outlets as well as internally within the business.
The Research Analyst will be expected to grow and support the coverage as part of the overall strategy to expand the footprint of BNP Paribas Exane Research in the U.S. The Research Analyst will have exposure to corporates’ management, investor conferences, analyst days and own the process of utilizing the available resources to make an investment recommendation. The Research Analyst will also work with teams within the firm, such as corporate access, research sales, specialist sales and trading.

The expected starting salary range for this position in New York is between $185,000 to $250,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
