VP of Global Operations Overview : PlanITROI is seeking a hands-on, transformational VP of Global Operations, with proven success leading global ITAD operations and partnerships. The executive must have a proven track record in managing ITAD business operations, global remote/ in-house teams, and building operational partnerships in computing repair and services. This role will hold responsibility for facilities, logistics (Forward/Reverse), ITAD services, refurbishment, computer repair, E-Commerce fulfillment, recycling, customer service, partners, IT, IS, etc. This role is remote on eastern time.
Mission: Build and lead a team with "A" players to scale PlanITROI's production and repair operations while developing the process, strategy and roadmap to $500M in sales per year.
Primary Responsibilities:

Analysis & Planning: Full analysis of all areas of responsibility within 90 days. (SWAT and deliver a strategic plan)

Evaluate the team, and determine gaps, organizational needs, and structure for future growth

Provide buy vs. build plan
-
Finalized strategic plan for all areas of responsibility created within 120 days
-
Facilities: Build from the ground up USA center of excellence for all in-house and outsourced partners to visit and learn

Hiring: Hiring success rate of “A” Players in key positions and identifying one successor being developed for all key roles within the organization

Manage scoreboard on all leading indicators to reduce operational cost from X (Today) by ___% within 12 months

Systems: Create a 3-year technology infrastructure roadmap to be presented within 6 months with the evaluation of current systems, processes, partners and tools on their scalability to 2M devices processed and sold per year by 2026

Evaluate and make recommendations within 3 months for the future growth of our QEHS Management System to ensure the operations are run in compliance with NAID, AAA, RIOS, R2V3, and OSHA standards, and lead the team through certification audits

Practice continuous improvement; through Kaizen/Six Sigma events quarterly both internally and with partners

Acquisitions: Work in partnership with the executive team in analyzing, negotiating, and integrating potential acquisitions

Create an integration plan before closing and non-essential/redundant components shut down within the agreed-upon time frame

100% of acquisitions add value; positive IRR on acquisitions in year 2 and beyond

Proposal RFx analysis – assess operational feasibility and risk factors. Provide operational content for RFx response

Partners: Analyze and refine the current partner selection process

Source partners with the highest efficiency, and best quality logistics

Forecast for each partner's annual cost reduction

Partner integration into PlanITvision platform

Audit partners with consistent supply processing PlanITROI assets on a twice-annual basis
Requirements & Experience:

Degree in Business or alike

Leadership experience building and growing managed ITAD computing operations:
-
ITAD services, Customer Service, Facilities, Logistics (Forward/Reverse), Refurbishment and Repair, E-Commerce fulfillment, IT, IS, recycling, partners etc.

Expert in building, growing and leading a global remote and in-house team and outsourced resources and partners

Expert in Operational P&L.

Experience sourcing, developing and managing global computing repair and ITAD outsourced partners

Demonstrated ability to automate manual processes with technology and systems

Leadership experience in Mergers & Acquisitions:

Strategic planning, sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and integrating acquisitions desired

Experienced in computing industry regulations: R2V3, ISO, NAID AAA

Experience in E-Commerce fulfillment and processes desired
