Job Description
OUR DESIGN TEAM
At Shaker Recruitment Marketing, we design across all media and candidate touchpoints with the goal of breaking through and truly resonating with our target audience. With the candidate at the center, we take our client’s objectives and values and create deep, meaningful connections – ones that not only speak to right-fit candidates but that also spark action. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Edit live-action videos from existing assets
- Produce animated videos from designed assets, as well as work to produce your own assets from scratch
- Concept and create motion graphics in various styles
- Support Sr. Designer or Art Director in bringing a concept to life
- Collaborate with design and social media team members to create videos and gifs that meet the needs of the particular project and match the aesthetic of our clients’ brands
- Ensure that branding is accurately represented
- Build and maintain a team rapport with creative team members, account managers, & project managers
- Collaborate with project managers to help prioritize and hit deadlines with quality work
- Create interactive design concepts
- Design: mood boards; storyboards; interactive page layouts; site grids and interface demos; photo retouching and enhancements; animated GIFs.
- Provide quality assurance on creative deliverables
- Perform other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications
- Creative portfolio showing:
- Ability to creatively edit videos in various styles and for a range of purposes utilizing and/or combining a range of assets including existing footage, original footage, stills, graphics, etc.
- Video examples showing ability to edit/work with audio including music, voiceover, and on-camera dialogue
- Examples of animated gifs in various styles and created from various assets
- Additional animation examples/skills a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in visual communication or related field
- Strong visual, interactive and graphic design skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and in a high-volume environment
- Strong work ethic
- Willingness and ability to work with multiple clients concurrently
- An eagerness to learn about the recruitment industry and support the agency’s success
- Highly skilled and proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Knowledge and proficiency in other editing and/or creative software (Adobe or non-adobe) a plus
- Understanding and knowledge of the video pre-production process including concepting and storyboard development
- Abilities around creating interactive, AR or other advanced video skills a plus
- Exceptional detail orientation, prioritization and follow-through
- Ability to constructively accept and positively provide feedback
- A focus on team success over individual glory
- Ability to articulate creative ideas
