A great opportunity has opened up in our established investigative firm. RJN Investigations is a private investigative company specializing in video surveillance, activity checks and other SIU services related to Worker’s Compensation and insurance investigations.

We are currently seeking two Video Editing Technician to fill entry level positions in California.

The ideal candidate should have at least 1 years experience editing video.

***This is a full time position Monday – Friday.

***Starting compensation is $18.00 hourly/

JOB DUTIES:

Views film and creates client video summaries. Creates and saves I.D. shot video prints. Maintains and files video evidence and manages all video requests. Maintains local files associated with video request and verifies dates and video totals. Copies appropriate number of duplicates to video using correct format. Packages and labels video copies for shipping. Consults with case manager or video department supervisor on video copy inquiries. Encodes and uploads video to website. Logs and label incoming/outgoing court evidence (video).

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must type at least 35 wpm
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Computer literate
• Must be detail-oriented
• Excellent communication, proofreading and writing skills.
• Knowledge and experience with mini-dvd camcorders and hard-drive camcorder technology.
