BEI Construction is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our SoCal division. As Warehouse Associate, you will be the sole and primary warehouse employee at our Chino office/warehouse location and are responsible for managing and overseeing all site warehouse functions for the division. This role will report to the General Manager of the division with periodic travel to jobsites located throughout the Southern California area.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability, if needed
• 6am – 3pm or 7am – 4pm

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Scheduling and receiving deliveries
• Loading and unloading materials
• Manage, organize, and track inventory
• Maintain accurate records and documents

• Coordinate with employees, vendors & delivery drivers
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Perform other duties, as assigned

Skills & Requirements:

• 3+ years prior warehouse experience

• Experience operating a forklift

• Valid CA Driver License and MVR that meets BEI driving standards
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, inventory software experience preferred
• Ability to perform repetitive work in a fast-paced work environment and capable of the defined physical demands

Physical Demands:

• Ability to work in extreme environments (for example sun, hot, cold, rain, etc.)
• Regularly standing and walking for long periods of time
• Regularly reaching with hands and arms to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Frequently sitting, bending, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds
• Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
• Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
