The Team Lead oversees and participates in the warehouse operations and activities of the Loading, Unloading Inbound (IB) and Outbound (OB) trucks. Bar Coding material for both IB and OB transactions and putting away material into the location. Receive process record any nonconformance material and issue manual labels to assure stock is correct. Receive, identify, mark and place materials sent to the warehouse according to established procedures and keep records for any file, provide the training for the team and schedule the outbound pick list for operation
The Team Lead will have advanced knowledge and can perform Level 1-3 responsibilities. The Team Lead should have the ability to and interest in learning supervisor tasks.

Key Accountabilities
  • Coordinate all Material Handler III processes including Receiving, Put Away, Cycle Account, Consolidation, Additional Material Time (AMT), Modernization (MOD), Cross dock, DC Loads, Stage, etc.
  • Perform daily MTS report and ordering on raw materials
  • Keep records of the of materials of put out of consolidation center
  • Support supervisor with execution of the OJT training plan and ISO documentation.
  • EHS Activities / 5’s, inspection of the PIV daily, Safety inspection on a weekly basis, Gun inspection daily, Camera inspection daily, Picture verification daily, picture filling, etc. PIV inspection daily.
Skills and Competencies
  • Warehousing- Knowledge of Florence finish material and MTS, Inventories, Cycle Accounts, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods in Consolidation Center
  • Time Management: prioritizing daily activities for the team, meeting deadlines, etc.
  • Problem Solving and Decision Making - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Communication - Talking to others to convey information effectively.

  • JDE- Knowledge of all JDE Scripts for receive, ship, cycle account, put away storage, location inquiry, print, pack out,
  • Computer Proficiency: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Prior leadership experience
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Experience: 3 years PIV, Warehousing, , MTS, Data Entry, DSI
Preferred Experience: 1-2 years prior team lead experience, 3 years experience in Warehousing, Data Entry, and scanning system.
