PROGRAM DETAILS
Penguin Random House offers a 10-week PAID, REMOTE internship opportunity available in our adult, children’s, and corporate divisions. Interns are exposed to the publishing process and our business through panels, networking events, and employee speaker series!
Summer interns work for 28 hours per week and are paid $20/hour.
Eligible candidates:
Current undergraduate students who will graduate on or before May 2024 or
Current students in graduate degree programs and/or
Workforce ready applicants

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
Finance
Finance is involved with everything that has a financial impact on the company, including sales forecasting, cost of goods, production, inventory, and the balance sheet for a title, imprint, or division. Finance liaises with every other department regarding corporate perspective, policies, and systems.
Some responsibilities may include creating a business analysis, outlining problems, including opportunities and solutions, budgeting, and forecasting, planning, and monitoring, performing variance analyses, developing account reconciliations, data compilation and analyses ensuring accuracy and preparing special projects.
