Angular Developer
Full-time/Remote
Your Responsibilities
The ideal candidate for this position will meet all of the requirements of the position and can work with a team in an agile environment. This is a full-time, salaried Angular Web Developer position supporting the Federal Government. You must be able to pass a Public Trust background check as required by the Federal client. You must also have excellent oral and written communications skills along with the following:
- Strong understanding of Angular 8+ frameworks
- Experience with TypeScript and JavaScript
- Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with front-end build tools
- Experience with RESTful APIs and data management using tools like RxJS and Redux
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing using tools such as Jasmine and Protractor
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
To be successful, a candidate should have the following skillset:
- 4+ years of web application development experience
- Strong experience with Angular 8+
- 3+ years of Software development experience
- 3+ years of experience with full-stack development, including understanding UI frameworks and back end architecture interactions
- Strong experience developing/consuming RESTful web services
- 2+ years of experience with Spring and Hibernate
- 2+ years of experience with designing and developing PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Solid knowledge of Scrum, Kanban Agile development methodologies
- Excellent issue resolution skills within open-source products
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- AWS cloud-based development experience
- Experience creating custom website presence ideally for Federal agency public websites
- Understanding mobile-friendliness of websites
- Familiarity and experience with Section 508 standards
- Looking for self-motivated and fast-learners

Other Requirements
- The right candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
- The nature of being a federal contractor is that the client gets to regulate a few aspects:
- This person must also be able to pass a Public Trust background check/clearance required by the Federal client.
- This position is open to US-based candidates only; candidates must reside in one of the following states: Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Rhode Island, Florida, Wisconsin, or New Mexico. If you do not reside in one of the following states, Artemis does offer relocation assistance.
- The role will require a pre-employment background and credit check in addition to any applicable client clearance.
