The Wealth & Asset Management Solutions (WAMS) team is part of Wealth & Advice Solutions (WAS) enterprise. The WAMS team is responsible for the distribution and support of proprietary, and certain third-party asset management, products and services to consultants and advisors, across multiple distribution channels. The team also supports with the marketing efforts of the solutions, working closely with Offer Management, Product and Marketing teams.

We are seeking a Client Analyst within our retail sales team.

What you are good at


The Client Analyst will support the WAMS Regional Directors and SWA Business Development Officers to provide Schwab client facing professionals and clients/prospects with ongoing education, updates and information about investment products, and the investment philosophy, strategy, process, and performance of specific products, thereby increasing assets under management for wealth and asset management offerings. Building trusting relationships with consultants and advisors and providing education and support to their clients is key to the candidates’ success. The primary focus will be to support internal, and 3rd party SMAs and wrap accounts in addition to Schwab Wealth Advisory (SWA). The main job responsibilities are to:


  • Monitor and respond to questions on SAM solutions from Schwab client facing professionals
  • Research and communicate portfolio related questions on behalf of WAMS Regional Directors
  • Partner with Regional Directors and BDOs in branch meetings and financial consultant outreach
  • Represent Wealth and Asset Management Solutions in Schwab branches, call centers and training sessions
  • Assist with client event planning and execution
  • Develop a deep understanding of SAM investment solutions and philosophy along with Schwab Wealth Advisory.

What you have


  • A valid and active FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 license required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience with wealth management – financial planning and investment planning
  • Understanding of traditional investment styles and vehicles (i.e., separately managed accounts, ETFs, mutual funds, fixed income assets) and investment strategy required.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) required.
  • Excellent client relationship management and marketing/sales skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
