The Cook is an integral part the team that helps change the lives of our patients and residents each day. As a Cook you are responsible for providing a full range Dietary Services in an interdisciplinary environment including:

Cooks perform the following job duties:

• Establishes and maintains a positive rapport with patients/residents, family members, visitors, etc.
• Promptly responds to emergency patient/resident situations, notifying immediate supervisor as required
• Functions as an effective member of the team by completing assignments in a timely, accurate, and caring manner. Effectively collaborates with other team members to create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positivity throughout the unit.

Job Requirements

• 6 months Cook experience is preferred. Experience cooking in a long term care facility is a plus.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation standards is preferred

Employment is contingent on successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and criminal background
