The As-Built Design Technician will record drawings, red-line drawings and as-built drawings, processing to the Client specified standard. They will provide final handover documentation and highlight the difference between the initial presented design layout against the final fiber cable and apparatus specifications and provide a detailed blueprint of the fiber cable & duct layout and all subsequent network infrastructure adjustments.

What Do You Offer Us?

  • Ability to read construction prints, redlines, and as-builts
  • Ability to translate construction production into usable billing units
  • Experience in Bluebeam, Adobe PDF Software
  • Knowledge of CAD Design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.
  • Experienced utilizing billing units
  • Good working knowledge within Telecom office support
  • Experience with managing a high volume of Design plan files using file-management software
  • Excellent attention to detail, in both design and data entry
  • Using PDF editing tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Revu Bluebeam, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

What is Required?

  • Valid Driver s License
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience working in the Telecom industry
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods with repeated lifting (Up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching

This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
