We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Web Developer who is proficient in Shopify to join our growing team. As an E-Commerce Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating our Shopify websites. You will work closely with our design team and marketing team to ensure that our websites are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for conversions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Shopify-based e-commerce website, ensuring high-performance, scalability and reliability
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Shopify Liquid and other relevant technologies
  • Perform thorough testing to ensure the quality and accuracy of code
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Shopify and e-commerce industry
  • Provide technical support to the head of the website as needed
  • Adapt to the fast-paced startup environment, and be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Integrate and configure Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to track website traffic and user behavior

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Shopify developer/engineer with a strong portfolio of Shopify projects
  • In-depth knowledge of Shopify Liquid, APIs, and other relevant technologies
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce websites
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
