Overview:

Last year, PepsiCo set up a new entity, Blue Cloud Distribution, Inc. (BCD) for wholesale operations of RTD Alcohol products - including selling, delivering, and merchandising products. BCD currently distributes Hard MTN DEW (developed and produced by the Boston Beer Company), and recently announced the addition of Lipton Hard Iced Tea (developed and produced by FIFCO USA) to the distribution portfolio. We are looking for talented and passionate team members to join the BCD team that will bring these exciting new products to market.


The BCD Finance Analyst is part of the Pepsi Beverages North America (PBNA) West Division Finance team and is a key contact responsible for providing financial expertise and recommendations across a matrix of BCD and PBNA stakeholders to enable effective decision-making within the business.


This position can sit anywhere in LA/SoCal
Responsibilities:
The Finance Analyst will provide over finance support for the BCD West Division team, including ad hoc analysis, performance reporting, cost tracking and scorecarding, competitive analysis, and supporting the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process.
  • Deliver strategic advice and thought leadership to portfolio innovation and topline performance.
  • Optimize reporting processes and modeling for competitive landscape, topline, share, pricing.
  • Provide ongoing tracking, support, and actions to improve overall cost efficiency (e.g. selling & delivery, labor).
  • Partner with commercial planning and help design best practices in data visualization.
  • Support overall AOP process development and execute AOP processes.
  • Determine bonus targets based on realistic performance levels, provide tracking and reconciliation for West Division frontline bonus structure.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $74,800 - $125,250.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience in corporate finance, business or financial planning; experience with forecasting and budgeting, financial modeling
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment and gain the cooperation of individuals across a matrix organization; comfortable influencing without authority to drive results
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management
  • Innovative thinker with a focus on continuous improvement; results-oriented, with ability to initiate and lead projects to completion; aptitude to work with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with ability to learn in-house software applications
  • GM mindset, ability to see total picture and understand business drivers outside finance
