Comfort Keepers is seeking a dedicated, experienced General Manager (GM) to join our network of caring professionals in the Vero Beach office. At Comfort Keepers, we provide uplifting in-home care for seniors and older adults who require a helping hand, a supportive companion, and day-to-day assistance in their home. The GM is responsible for ensuring extraordinary service for Seniors, while providing exceptional leadership to our team of passionate, motivated caregivers and office staff professionals.

Job Summary:

The General Manager is accountable for the employees and overall operations of the location. The GM ensures their location consistently provides extraordinary client experiences through their team of highly trained, motivated and engaged caregivers while achieving sustained growth for the office. The General Manager provides leadership and direction for their team and manages the daily operations of the location. This includes the engagement and satisfaction of Comfort Keeper employees in their location by providing leadership, management, supervision, and counseling support for the staff. The General Manager is responsible for the financial performance of their location, as well as developing and implementing proven sales and client satisfaction initiatives. The General Manager, in conjunction with local support staff, is accountable for location compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare or a related field preferred OR minimum of 3-5 years of business leadership including supervisory and sales experience in a healthcare or related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership, business development and people management skills.
  • Strategic planning vision and the ability to anticipate changing business conditions and take appropriate pro-active measures to optimize the business.
  • Ability to understand and interpret financial reports utilized in measurement of success.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Excellent organization, interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license with the ability to pass a background check (including motor vehicle records check)

Position Physical Demands:
