Job Summary / Overview

As a member of our Client Success team, you are the essence of Aspen's white glove service model and will play an integral role in enriching the employee experience. You live the Aspen core values of white glove service, executional excellence and collective commitment with each interaction.

The Client HR Associate is a key member of the Client Success Team and partners with the HR Client Success Reps to seamlessly administer core HR functions for our clients. This role is primarily responsible for the end-to-end onboarding of client worksite employees including coordination with internal cross functional areas and outside vendors. The Client HR Associate also supports routine requests from employees and back office HR administrative tasks.

What You'll Do:

  • Onboard worksite employees in our HRIS system including appropriate workflow management, background screening, I9 verification and eVerify. Complete all tasks related to onboarding within appropriate deadlines and according to each client's processes.
  • Serve as main day to day contact with our third-party background check provider
    • Reconcile invoices and add charges to appropriate client bills
    • Monitor the general email inbox and respond to any employee inquiries
    • Escalate flagged background check results to the appropriate HR Client Success Reps to ensure appropriate steps are being followed for any adverse action
  • Respond to requests for verification of employment, unemployment claims, agency workforce surveys and similar items. Follow appropriate processes, documentation and record retention for all items.
  • Serve as first point of contact for worksite employees to solve requests related to the employee self service portal, benefit enrollments or changes, payroll questions and general processes. May involve communication and research with outside benefit carriers or internal departments. Escalate complex issues internally as appropriate.
  • Order and renew employment posters for new clients or when entering new states. Execute processes for compliance updates, returns/suspensions and renewal of subscriptions.
  • Maintain our HR Compliance portal user accounts for new or exiting clients and users.
  • Maintain the HRIS setup for clients and employees upon request or to comply with federal/state requirements to include updating workflows, maintaining organizational tables, adding/removing user accounts.

Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience required; degree in business, management/leadership, human resources preferred.
  • Minimum two years of human resources experience; PEO/ASO experience preferred
  • Natural ability to provide white-glove customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, conveying information with confidence and clarity.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • iSolved HCM experience preferred
