Inside Sales Associate
Location: Support Center (Remote)
Department/Function: OPX/Catering
Reports to: Director of Catering
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Inside Sales Associates primary focus is to grow an existing book of business and prevent client lapsing. Responsible for exceeding sales and activity target objectives by leveraging existing Client base, networking and prospecting for new opportunities, through existing Client referrals. Supports the sales growth of multiple shops assigned by the Director of Catering
FOCUS
Responsibilities
- Through strategic inside sales building efforts, contacts lapsed Clients to secure future orders and generate additional revenue.
- Prevents future lapsing of Clients, by maintaining relations through Account maintenance calls and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Contacts a minimum of 100 Clients/week to uncover additional Catering needs and provide services to secure the business.
- Focused on hitting targeted revenue goals through Account maintenance of Clients.
- Uncovers referral opportunities through strategic Account Maintenance calls, and provides leads to Catering Sales Managers, or closes as needed.
- Responds to client needs with timely follow up and a mission to serve their needs and prevent lapsing.
- Utilizes Salesforce.com to enter detailed information and create follow up tasks, in order to hit the target revenue goal.
- Prioritizes call list, with high potential lapsed clients, by analyzing reports within salesforce.com and other resources provided.
- Understands and communicates Potbelly Catering offerings to Clients in a compelling way.
- Processes a high volume of outbound calls.
- Records details of Client communication in Salesforce.com.
- Other duties, as assigned.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS
- Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of 45 to 55 hours a week.
- Must be able to exert well-paced and frequent mobility for periods up to 8 hours or as needed.
- Must be able to travel locally, as needed.
- Be able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally.
- Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data. Warm and cool environments, indoors (95%) and outdoors (5%).
- Work in higher levels of noise from music, customer and employee traffic.
- Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish.
- Must be able to communicate heavily through telephone, e-mail and in-person communications.
