Bakerly, a fast-growing French-based manufacturer of baked goods (crepes, brioche, and pastries) with a people-centered philosophy, has expanded into the US in 2016 and established its first U.S. Based manufacturing facility in Easton, PA. in 2017 and Bakerly is actively expanding production capacity at its new manufacturing facility in San Antonio, TX. We are currently hiring for multiple positions to build our team.

Scope/Purpose of the Position

The inventory control analyst will be responsible for maintaining and reporting current inventory levels for the plant. Responsible for completing daily work orders for the creation of the finished product in the ERP. Performs physical cycle counts of the raw materials used in production. May be trained to use forklift equipment to assist in duties. Responsible for identifying inventory shortages and reporting findings. This position may coordinate and complete data entry activities along with being responsible for various reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. This position will also be involved in the additional setups needed in the ERP for MRP functionality and advanced inventory reporting.

Major Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Analyze and identify inventory variances along with investigations of issues to find root cause and preventative actions.
  • Placing inventory orders and tracking shipments
  • Conduct and coordinate special assignments as needed that are related to inventory with other departments.
  • Design, update, and maintain inventory reports using spreadsheets or ERP reporting software
  • Analyze and prepare ad hoc reports
  • Assist in the setup of MRP inside the newly implemented ERP
  • Complete daily work orders inside ERP for the finished product produced on that day
  • Perform inventory cycle counts on an as-needed basis
  • Adheres to all safety and food safety rules inside the plant
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager
Requirements:

Job Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control preferred
  • 2+ years of experience using an ERP or similar inventory control software
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access

Back-Up

The Warehouse Manager will be the backup in the absence of the Analyst.
