Manage Projects using the Dollar General PMO SOP and IT TGP:
Intake phase: Develop Project Charter. Facilitate project charter review meeting, create, and manage program/project documentation storage, facilitate sessions to validate business and technical requirements. Confirm completion & submission of third-party documentation processes. Schedule Delivery to IT Delivery Owner. Assist in acquiring Legal department approvals of pending contracts utilizing defined workflow processes; communicate vendor escalations (Risks, Issues, Concerns, and Schedule). Assists in the preparation of the business case, assist in the assembly of reports for IT Steering Committee Gate 1 decision.
Team Formation phase: Create and Facilitate Team Formation presentations. Create RACI Chart and Facilitate project work-breakdown sessions to the impacted domain leaders. Facilitate and complete all Gate 2 prep activities, assist in the assembly of reports for IT Steering Committee Gate 2 decision.
Sizing phases: Schedule T-Shirt Sizing Meeting. Assist in clarifying the Purchase Decision. Schedule Client Go or No-Go Investment Decisions. Confirm Anaplan activity and an allocation of funds for the project. Communicate and bridge the gap between Client priority and delivery team priority.
Solution Analysis phases: Facilitate proof-of-concept exercises. Schedule and facilitate Solution Analysis Review. Create and manage project schedules. Manage and control the project management process, involve the appropriate decision makers when faced with roadblocks.
Solution Delivery: Facilitate weekly project control calls, ensure SDLC requirements are completed, IT change control processes are followed, utilize project change management processes, report weekly on project progress, create and verify Stoplight reports, liaise frequently with IT department managers and business function managers to provide a steady flow of communication. Facilitate successful system, end to end, and user acceptance testing with internal and/or external resources. Assist the Project Manager and act as a conduit of status information during go-live implementations, and support system.
Demonstrable leadership skills: consultative supervision, ability to influence others, ability to manage all levels of the organization.
