About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Information Security Engineer. This position will support the IAM Organization in knowledge and alignment with Information Cyber Security (ICS) and IAM organizations for access needs.

Key efforts to be successful are:
  • Deliver process consistency across Wells Fargo Technology supporting Access Management initiatives
  • Works with a variety complex applications and/or application initiatives.
  • Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs.
  • Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible factors.
  • Assist with solution design to streamline and modernize authentication, authorization and federation capabilities for applications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Serves as the highest level of information security consultant to all internal clients, technical management and lines of business to ensure conformity with corporate information security standards.
  • Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff
  • Successful candidate will work closely with the various stake holders within IAM, Information Security Management, Risk Management, lines of businesses and technology leadership across the enterprise in the execution of the WF strategies/objectives.
  • Accordingly, critical success factors will include the ability to effectively engage in a matrix-ed organization, develop partnerships with many business and functional areas, and have a strong operational focus
  • Provide security consulting on large projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards
  • Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for highly complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security
  • Review and correlate security logs
  • Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management and access management
  • Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
  • Provide technology leadership to the team to achieve objectives
In this role, you will:
  • Design and put into place hybrid Azure and Google cloud solutions
  • Set up hybrid connectivity for on-site and Azure and Google cloud environments
  • Consult with application development and single-sign on solution teams on application cloud integration
  • Give development teams advice, cloud guidance, and mentoring to help them enhance their app cloud integrations
  • Provide expertise to team in cloud security and design
  • Develop security and configuration automation to govern the cloud environment
  • Design and Develop rules and flows in AD Connect
  • Implement and design solutions for Infrastructure and Platform in the Azure and Google cloud
  • Consult with architects and leads in identifying agile solutions to cloud business needs and problems
  • Create reports which monitor and track cloud security and configuration
  • Provide feedback to leads and architects on security and cloud solutions
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of experience with the Google public cloud environment
  • 5 + years of experience of Authentication/Authorization and Active Directory
  • 3+ years of experience in Google cloud application integration. OIDC and SAML and associated patterns
  • Working knowledge of solutioning and design infrastructure and platform in the cloud. Database services, Kubernetes, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience with development or scripting experience (Terraform, PowerShell, C#, etc...)
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or relevant discipline
  • Have a deep knowledge of not only how to put solutions together but on how it is built on the system side. (Knowledge of Microsoft Identity Manager preferable)
  • 3 or more years with development (.NET, C#, etc...)
  • CISSP or other security certifications

$133,300.00 - $237,100.00 Annual
