POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing & Design Specialist will work directly with the VP of Communications to develop and drive marketing strategies and producing the graphic design elements necessary for Xtend and those we serve – our business partners, credit union clients and their members.
This position will work with our internal teams, our clients, and our partners to facilitate B2B and B2C marketing strategies, audience curation, and marketing execution. This role is essential for the success of Xtend, as well as our B2B and B2C client relations, brand, and marketing. This will include understanding the unique brands we serve, content creation for multi-media needs (email, print, web, social, press releases and more), and measuring the success of our communications. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of target audiences and the best way to speak to those audiences that will drive results.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Develop expert knowledge on electronic communications platforms
  • Training internal teams and/or clients on tools and software utilized by Xtend.
  • Improve and develop marketing strategies for Xtend, our partners and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed understanding of various brands we support to create content for successfully maintaining and executing marketing strategies
  • Drives audience engagement through targeted markets and report on our efforts to adapt as needed
  • Create and submit all end of month or quarterly reports
  • Assist in the resolution of minor Internal Network & Systems support.
  • Ensure products and procedures are well documented and updated.
  • Assist with event and webinar correspondence and administrative needs.
  • Manage custom client requests & projects in timely manner.
  • Compose content for marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, inserts, online, and direct mail pieces, as well as digital marketing materials such as web/social media graphics, website design, and email campaigns.
  • Create, revise, and standardize branding and logo formats.
  • Provide support to staff regarding graphic needs and marketing content for written communication needs.
  • Participate in team meetings, gather information and data, and think creatively to produce new ideas for marketing and advertising.
  • Coordinate with clients to establish a vision for a product or design
  • Marketing collateral ordering and order management both for Xtend as an organization, and clients.
  • Press release tracking and management to meet corporate and team goals.
  • Assist in marketing collateral creative process and quality assurance.
  • Support teammates with website updates and collateral updates.
  • Contribute and assist with marketing and advertising programs for Xtend and client partners.
  • Keep Xtend up to date with technological changes and industry advancements.
  • Accept all other duties as assigned by the VP of Communications or Xtend Leadership Team.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School graduate or equivalent is required.
  • Three to five years of experience in business administration, marketing or project management preferred.
  • Experience and aptitude using Microsoft application software as well as email marketing software and/or social media management software
  • Handles pressure well in a fast-paced environment with strong Project Management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to compose single correspondence or other materials as directed.
  • Thoroughness, excellent attention to detail; ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Ability to use discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential data.
  • Ability to maintain and present a positive and happy attitude.

Xtend operates in a professional office building setting. Some job assignments at Xtend are primarily conducted within the office building(s) while others have moderate to extensive travel responsibilities as described in the Job Functions and/or Job Qualifications section(s) above.
