Job Description

We are searching for a Medical Assistant to support our team with primary care in a fast-paced medical office. The Medical Assistant will work directly with patients to help them manage their medical issues and ensure that they receive the best possible care. The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team, have prior experience clerical tasks and have at least one year of experience working in a clinic.

Responsibilities:

• Execute medical procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Gather information on patient health.
• Explain treatment options to patients and their families.
• Perform physical examinations and procedures; such as taking a patient's vital signs, drawing blood, or giving an injection.
• Arrange travel accommodations for patients who are receiving care outside the area.
• Provide support to the doctor by making arrangements to deliver test results, x-rays, and other medical data.
• Interpret medical instructions from physicians.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
