Building Block Resolutions
is a rapidly growing ABA company that provides innovative approaches to assist children, young adults, and their families diagnosed with Autism. BBR is currently recruiting individuals who have a passion for human service and working 1:1 with children. You must be patient, motivated to learn, have a collaborative attitude, and have spectacular customer service. This position is to take place in the child’s natural environment such as a home or school setting but is not limited.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are ready to grow in their careers, and also ready to impact a child's overall quality of life. Ideal candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Speech Therapy, Counseling, Special Education, or a related field, but not required.

What we need from you:

  • Serve as a primary interventionist in the education/treatment of children with autism.
  • Implement treatment plans to support the acquisition of social, communication, academic, and daily living skills.
  • Assist with assessment and implementation of behavior management plans; record and help analyze data on a daily basis.
  • Participate in group and individualized training meetings on a regular basis.
  • Energetic, animated, and outgoing, with a passion for helping children achieve their true potential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, self-motivated, creative, and dependable.
  • Comfortable working with children who display behavior challenges.
  • A degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, or education is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Availability:

The schedule for each case changes on the days and times services are performed. BBR works with your availability and the hours you desire to work weekly. Keep in mind this is a Part-time job with a 3-month probation.

  • 10-20 weekly hours
  • Willing to travel to locations such as Los Angeles, Hawthorne, Lawndale, North Hollywood, etc.
  • MUST BE AVAILABLE Monday- Friday from 2 PM -8 PM (Likely to change due to case schedule)
  • Some weekend availability (Preferred not Required)
