Medicaid Department seeking Full Time Paralegal, preferrably with experience in Medicaid applications. Candidate should be professional, well organized, detail oriented and computer savvy. Candidate must be able to work independently as well as be a team player. The position includes preparation of DSS forms, review of financial statements, tracking of assets and assistance to the client in asset protection methods, correspondence with the client and DSS as well as financial institutions. Full time work is 37.5 hours/week, and hours are somewhat flexible. Experience is a bonus. Compensation based on experience.
Medicaid paralegals are puzzle solvers! You have to stick with the project, which can be months long, to get a client approved.
