Overview:
LSCC seeks to hire Texas licensed, board certified Pediatricians who are experienced working with the underserved population in a fast paced clinic setting.

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate should have experience with an EHR, managed ADHD patients per AAP guidelines, supervised mid-level providers, possess flexibility with their time, and be creative in their problem-solving approaches. LSCC, through our partnership with Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas, provides top quality evidence based pediatric primary care with a connection to a world-class children’s hospital and specialty care when needed. We provide a professional practice management team that focuses on quality and productivity; we offer teaching/precepting opportunities; and have an EHR with ongoing IT support. We employ a range of mental health professionals, including child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists and therapists. Our Pediatricians deliver excellent care to our patients through out-patient, primary care community health centers with multicultural, multilingual patient population.

Qualifications:
Current valid license to practice medicine in the State of Texas (or completion/scheduled date of Jurisprudence)

Current DPS and DEA certificates (or in progress).

Board eligibility in Pediatrics (ABP or ABOP) is required; board certification is required within three years of achieving initial eligibility.

Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS required

Bilingual/Medical Spanish is preferred but not required
