About The Role

As Public Relations & Communications Manager, you will be responsible for all publicly facing media and communications activities. You’ll work closely with senior management, including our co-founders, to shape and distribute our story.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure that Season is a thought leader in the Food as Medicine and related spaces
  • Craft stories and pitches, and conduct media outreach
  • Write and disseminate press releases and media pitches, and collaborate with relevant partners
  • Collaborate on organic content and leverage for PR & external communications
  • Build and publish organic content, PR and corporate communications in concert with a full channel strategy including, but not limited to blogs, white papers, case studies, emails and social media content
  • Stay up to speed on healthcare and food trends and news that may impact Season
  • Develop talking points, presentation materials and thought leadership platforms for various executive speaking engagements
  • Research potential awards opportunities and create and submit awards applications

About You

  • A working knowledge of healthcare
  • A demonstrated ability to work with reporters, shape a narrative and generally present Season in the best light possible
  • An understanding of current content distribution channels and strategies
  • Passion for working in an early stage company and building from the ground up
  • Comfort with ambiguity, a bias for action and a willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • An overdeveloped sense of ownership
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail
