Positions linked to this posting:
Operations & Program Support Specialist (3 positions). The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative and program support to specific teams in service to transformative, community-led, and community-owned initiatives and the mission, vision, values and goals of the Oregon Health Authority and the Health Systems Division.
This position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing meetings, workgroups, and schedules, with focus on facilitating cohesive communication, collaboration, and decision-making. This includes participating in team meetings and assuming responsibility for the completion of follow up, which involves researching, analyzing, evaluating, collecting, organizing, assembling, preparing reports, incorporating information for special projects, making recommendations for action, and implementing recommendations approved by leadership.
This position will also assist in the design, implementation, and sustainability of key initiatives and projects by developing and updating spreadsheets and tracking tools through iterative validation with key stakeholders and executive sponsors and by interpreting and evaluating laws, rules, policies, procedures to assure operational alignment and compliance.
  • 1 position will support the 1115 Medicaid Waiver Strategic Operations team. Medicaid is a state and federal program. A state must apply for a Medicaid waiver when it wants to make changes from normal federal guidelines. OHP, Oregon's Medicaid program, delivers health care to people who have low incomes. The new 2022-2027 wavier is focused on: Creating a more equitable, culturally- and linguistically-responsive health care system; Ensuring people can maintain their health coverage; Improving health outcomes by addressing social needs that impact health; and Ensuring smart, flexible spending for health equity.
  • 1 position will support the Measure 110 team. The purpose of
    Measure 110
    is to make screening health assessment, treatment and recovery services for substance use disorder and harmful substance use available to all those who need and want access to those services; and to adopt a health approach to substance use by removing criminal penalties for low-level drug possession.
  • 1 position will jointly support the Behavioral Health Deputy Director and the Adult Behavioral Health Director. The Behavioral Health Deputy Director who is focused on fostering equity-centered and transformative strategic initiatives across the behavioral health system in collaboration with other members of the director leadership team, as well as operational effectiveness and organizational alignment strategies. Adult Behavioral Health Director whose responsibility includes the full continuum of behavioral health supports for adults.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Required Attributes:
Three years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis; OR
An associate degree in general office occupations and two years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis; OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
