Job Description:
Assist Project Manager to perform administrative task, recruit and screen new enrollees, abstract medical records, and work closely with the Project Coordinator to implement and administer all study related questionnaires and or interviews, study driven procedures, data entry, data edits, and maintaence of research subject’s database.
Essential Functions:
1. Coordinate and schedule Participant Research Visits
2. Administer interviewer study questionnaires and or interviews
3. Administer study driven protocol procedures
4. Ensure integrity of data entry, edits, and storage per protocol
5. Manage the collection and submission of abstract medical record per protocol.
6. Coordinate with research team to facilitate timely data collection and submission
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in HIV-related clinical research, community, or public health
BA/BS and a minimum of 2 years of related research or work experience in public health, epidemiology, health promotion, a plus. Previous experience with recruiting subjects, and with an understanding of the ethical and technical conduct of research preferred and the ability to adhere to structured protocols, a plus. Ability to work well independently, complete projects in a timely manner, and prioritize multiple projects to ensure the completion of essential tasks by deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Exhibit the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while working with a diverse subject population. Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA and Regulatory requirements for health care research.
Strong medical terminology understanding. Certification: CITI Human Subjects, GCP, HIPPA, Shipping Biological, Infectious Substance, and related Hazards according to IATA/ICAO and USDOT regulations, a plus.
