Position Description

Epic Special Education Staffing is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for a contract School Psychologist for the 2023-2024 school year. If this person wants to work 2024 ESY, he/she can. There is some flexibility with the schedule as this person will be based out of the central office in Westover, MD. Very small district so you have easy access to principals, directors, other teachers. Because of this, the caseloads are small. The other full time school psychologist is very skilled and talented and will serve as a mentor. This district is located on the eastern shore of Maryland, so it is located close to the beach and is a great sailing destination.

• Duration: August 28, 2023 - June 13, 2024
• Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
• Full or Part Time: Full Time
• Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, 7 ½ hours/day; can choose start time between 7:15 AM and 8:30 AM
• Grade/Age Levels: Pre-Kinder to 12th-grade
• Caseload description: 15-17 students

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for a School Psych:

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a psychologist within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
• Valid NASP and credential/license or in process in the state of practice
