Security Account Manager


HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is hiring a full-time Security Account Manager to oversee operations for a high-profile client in the Newark, Totowa, and Swedesboro, NJ areas. The Account Manager is responsible for the daily functioning of a contract site including operations, customer service, personnel management, security & safety in accordance with Sunstates objectives. This candidate will oversee security operations for 3 sites in the state of NJ.

Requirements
:

  • Valid SORA license.
  • 5 or more years of related management and leadership experience in the security industry, law enforcement, or military.
  • Previous experience in managing multiple site operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four (4) year college or university is preferred.
  • 3 or more years of related management and leadership in the security industry, law enforcement, or military.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and time management skills.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office products.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Flexibility to be on call as needed during all shifts.
  • Ability to travel between locations in northern and southern New Jersey frequently.
  • Must have winteam experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures
  • Recruit, train, and supervise security officers and guards
  • Attend meetings with client and additional personnel to determine operational needs
  • Constant daily communication with client and site personnel on all security-related matters
  • Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
  • Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
  • Review reports on incidents and breaches
  • Investigate and resolve issues
  • Adjusting work schedule to accommodate site-specific needs (I.E staffing shortages, incident reports, special events, etc) Sun123
