Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 15 years of professional experience in Product Planning, Commercialization, or Business strategy
  • 10 years of experience in people management, including experience building teams
  • Experience building, refining, or owning financial models

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Experience with ongoing partner relationship management, with ability to serve as an advocate for a product category internally and work collaboratively to identify opportunities or resolve issues
  • Experience in product or business strategy for SaaS or cloud and B2B solutions
  • Experience in project management, with the ability to lead and manage multiple time-sensitive projects
  • Experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to create effective relationships, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels and with various cross-functional partners without direct authority
  • Ability to take initiative to drive strategy and results

As the Senior Director of Product Operations, Google Workspace, you will lead and manage a team of Product Managers who sit at the intersection of product and engineering strategy and execution and are central to driving Google’s Workspace business forward. You will be responsible for key elements of product prioritization, business management, and governance of the ongoing business management cadence for the General Manager. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and many other teams within Google both regionally and globally to develop Google’s Workspace business.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $284,000-$422,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Own, design, and manage the product roadmap and goal execution for Google Workspace.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and all relevant teams within Google to ensure full alignment for all initiatives and business management.
  • Drive business operations excellence and continuous improvement by designing, building, and managing the platforms, processes, and forums to govern the business cadence for the full Google Workspace portfolio including Business management reviews.
  • Provide business guidance and put them together with Finance and Sales for Google Workspace’s business growth models.
  • Represent Product team in cross-functional pricing forum and agreement approval process, and support the product teams.
