Position Overview:
o Develop a robust and custom trade marketing plan for all sampling activations with the focus on acquiring new consumers.
o Work in partnership with the retailer teams to receive data insights on retention rates and apply data driven decisions to all future sampling programs.
o Manage and own sampling financial budget, reconciling monthly and adjusting as rephases are needed.
o Responsible for delivery of samples by working close cross functionally with demand planning/planning team to ensure timeliness of shipments.
o Input all sampling programs into Passport platform on a monthly basis and always reaching for 100% accuracy of phasing.
o Lead visual merchandising process for all seasonal gondola and secondary updates with strategic briefs kicking off the process cross functionally.
o Partner with Account Director to ensure optimal productivity of gondolas of all respective retailers and evaluate retail sales impact of discontinued skus.
o Proactively identify areas of opportunity from a productivity standpoint and provide ideas to Account Director on how to further optimize visual merchandising space in stores.
o Responsible for project management for all secondary updates in store, working closely with internal VM team to meet all respective deadlines.
o Create and implement marketing planning tools, including 360 marketing calendars, retailer-facing marketing planning materials, and at-a-glance tools to ensure all teams have a thorough knowledge of marketing activations and account-specific activity by season.
o Support Account Director in executing brand-led retailer social strategy to increase retailer share of voice within Too Faced-owned brand channels. Highlight opportunities for engagement and amplification.
o Strategically plan the business calendar, including promotion, sampling, in-store visuals, and eventing for the omni business.
o Identify marketing opportunities with retailers and propose creative and unique executions.
o Drive loyalty for the brand within retailer scope, including but not limited to CRM Points offers and identifying strategic audience segments for targeting.
o Monthly audit of retailer.com pages with findings on (included but not limited to) pricing, assets, copy, video.
o Use data on SEO keywords to ensure copy on pages houses these terms.
o Complete extensive research on best-in-class assets and provide monthly recap on ideas on how to optimize assets.
o In support with Director of Digital Marketing, track campaign budgets and support in submission of DMPP briefs.
o Alongside Account Director, always push to have optimal digital exposure supported by ULTA.
o Ensure all influencer social tags are being tracked and sent to ULTA in a timely manner for the potential of reposting/sharing.
o Track assets being delivered by Global and serve as dedicated project manager resulting in timeliness upload of all NPD deliverables.
o Understand and be able to report on category plans and performance-to-plan and mix-of-business results.
o Lead seasonal retailer presentation planning, working with internal departments on meeting materials, presentation items and meeting agenda/flow.
o Organizing with the support of Associate Manager gratis shipments.
o Support Account Director in tracking of OOS skus and identifying retail sales impact.
o Complete competitive analysis of new trends in the industry and provide strategic recommendations to Account Director.
o Complete on an ad-hoc basis selling reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
o Work closely with Events/Education team to ensure all materials ladder up to 360 strategies.
o 7+ years of related Marketing or Trade Marketing experience
o Experience working with ULTA Beauty
o Branding/ social media/ Beauty/ Fashion/ Entertainment experience a plus
o Self-starter with the ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines with a follow-up mentality
o Strong presentation skills, comfortable presenting in small to large business settings
o Experience with digital media and driving commercial outcomes with social media tools
o Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence others
o Excellent written and oral communications skills
o Strong quantitative skills and ability to effectively story tell with data
o Four-year college degree or equivalent
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $96,500 to $159,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
