The Sr. Clinical Scientist’s primary responsibility is to work with the leadership team to plan pre-market studies to support regulatory approval and post-market studies to generate scientific evidence. This is an individual contributor role.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of study concepts, protocol and timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and KOLs to develop clinical strategies.
  • Evaluate scientific data and literature, and stay abreast of current clinical practice.
  • Present scientific data by communicating accurate, succinct summaries of clinical results at conferences, investigational meetings and regulatory agency meetings.
  • Conduct literature review to support product development and to determine the evidence gaps
  • Prepare study reports, clinical evaluations and literature reviews
  • Participate in root cause analysis, preventive or corrective actions, and effectiveness monitoring


Requirements:

  • Education: Advanced degree (e.g., M.D., Ph. D, Pharm D) is highly recommended.
  • Minimum 8 years experience working in clinical affairs or medical affairs of a medical device or biotech company
  • Minimum 5 years experience in developing study protocol, writing study reports and conducting literature analysis.
  • Ability to understand the literature and have the ability to critically evaluate scientific literature
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects independently
  • Good interpersonal skills and project management skills
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time

Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonuses, stock and employee benefits including but not limited to PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, dental & vision insurance, life & disability insurance and a 401k plan.
