JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an organized and efficient stockroom clerk to join our growing business. As a stockroom clerk, you will manage receiving, storage, and distribution of materials as well as maintain accurate records of inventory. Our ideal candidate is attentive, energetic, and hardworking. Ultimately, you are tasked with ensuring all our departments have adequate access to the materials they need.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Record inventory data manually or on a computer system.
Document discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts of stock.
Receive, count, and verify incoming orders.
Label stock items with labeling equipment such as identification tags or stamps.
Pack and unpack items for storage in stockrooms, storage yards, or warehouses.
Operate machinery for moving stock items.
Process shipping requests, requisitions, or job orders.
Distribute products or materials to store shelves or co-workers.
Coordinate with co-workers to accomplish large tasks efficiently.
Process damaged or defective stock per company protocol.
Prepare documents and reports for transactions or regulatory compliance.
Comply with safety regulations for moving heavy objects and using machinery.
Inventory stock of materials, supplies, parts, and merchandise.
Responsible for Ensure work areas and kept clean and organized.

Enforces DCX-CHOL Enterprises policies and safety practices.

Participates in training, safety, and quality programs.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

High School Diploma or GED required.
Exceptional interpersonal and organization skills.
Written and oral comprehension skills.
Ability to solve problems swiftly with little or no direct supervision.
Able to work quickly and accurately in a complex, fast-moving-environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Physically capable of routinely bending to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
Literacy in computer operating systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, etc.
Competent in the daily tasks to meet his/hers job duties acquired from on the job training.

TAR REQUIREMENTS:

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorization from the U.S. Department of State.
