GLSS is currently seeking a Supply Technician to support projects at the Jacksonville NAS in Jacksonville, FL.
Description:
The Supply Technician performs technical supply and asset management (e.g., inventory management, acceptance, storage, transfer, and property utilization) in support of IMRL and AMMRL activities and programs.
Responsibilities:
· Applies knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines to ensure availability of calibrated IMRL/AMMRL equipment to execute Customer requirements.
· Analyzes and defines equipment availability and calibration issues, collects data pertaining to the situation and takes/recommends action to address and resolve issues and effectively manage aircraft IMRL and support equipment to enable aircraft availability and readiness.
· Acceptance, inventory and transfer of equipment.
· Local Asset Management System Update with equipment status and repair activities.
· Manage LAMS – Local Asset Management System; IMRL – Individiual Material Readiness List ; MMRL – Aircraft Maintenance Material Readiness List (Program); and, SE – Support Equipment.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma.
· 3 or more years of experience in supply and asset management activities preferably in a military supply environment.
· 3 or more years of working knowledge with IMRL, AMMRIL and/or calibration programs.
· Experience working in Supply in an Aviation environment.
· Experience with technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities.
· Current Secret clearance.
