Boeing Government Training Engineering is currently seeking Systems Engineering and Integration Engineers to become part of the F-15 GTE team developing and integrating the technical solutions in Berkeley, MO. GTE is responsible for the design, development, manufacture, and maintenance of training devices for variants of the F15 aircraft including F15C, F15E, & F15EX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
  • Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
  • Perform Technical analysis/ develop technical solutions associated with affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
  • Develops, maintains and identifies system operations and improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology integration and readiness assessment processes.
  • Resolves cross-functional distribution of System Requirements and technical issues.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • Experience with Aircraft Avionics/Simulation Systems Engineering and/or Software Engineering
  • Experience with Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) hardware solutions and uniquely developed components

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • C++, Java, Python, DirectX, OpenGL, UI frameworks and software frameworks.
  • MBSE, PLE, DOORS, Common Image Generator Interface (CIGI)
  • LINUX, WINDOWS
  • Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) (Multi-Platform Networking)

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary Pay Range: $97,750- $132,250
