PROJECT COORDINATOR

Brycon is now looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team in North Phoenix, AZ.

Position Overview

This position will work closely with our Project Management and Construction team. They must be proficient on computers, have a willingness to learn, be attentive to details, comfortable and able to communicate/interact with field employees onsite, as well as have a team player mindset. This position is geared towards career growth into project engineer/project management.

Location

  • North Phoenix, AZ

Job Duties

  • Generate and track contracts/ work orders for subcontractors and vendors
  • Track and update payment tracker for weekly review
  • Process all pay apps, PO’s and invoices in BMIP
  • Process and send out sub/vendor checks
  • Update Equipment Tracker
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with Project Manager and General Foreman
  • Is thoroughly familiar with client(s), company and OSHA safety regulations and policies
  • Interact with subcontractors and vendors
  • Track and log employee timesheets
  • Track and log reporting spreadsheet
  • Process employee expense reports every quarter
  • Process Home Depot, Lowe’s and Visa Statements monthly
  • Log and keep track of city drawings
  • Request site badge access and update essential worker list for current employees and all subs/vendors
  • Track Client funding and COR’s
  • Track project documentation, plans, and reports
  • Assist with: Transmittals, submittal logs, RFI logs, change order logs, ASI logs, meeting minutes, basic submittal (Div. 01000 – 16000), basic quantity take-offs, warranty letters/O&M assembly, preparation of invoices/pay apps for PM approval
  • Frequently work on projects that require deadlines
  • Other duties, as assigned
  • Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays. Employee will be compensated based on guidelines in the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Experience, Skillset, & Educational Requirements

  • Associates degree in relevant field, preferred, but not required
  • Basic knowledge of construction
  • 6+ months of proven, relevant experience in construction or related field required
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and 10-year criminal background check
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and favorable driving record
  • Experience in some or all the following areas: Evaluation and report writing, working effectively with a team, planning and schedule management, project coordination, planning/directing/organizing project work, schedule management, quality assurance, risk management, procurement management, documentation management, tenders, and/or performance reviews.
