Voyage Healthcare is nationwide family owned travel nurse recruiting and hiring firm.

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team of Medical Surgical professionals. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team, and will make use of proven teaching techniques in order to ensure patient safety and effective treatment. This is a long-term position, as there is significant opportunity to grow within our organization.

Unit Notes:**CERNER REQUIRED**
***MUST HAVE 1 YEAR OF BURN EXPERIENCE IN A BURN UNIT*** Floating to a burn unit does not count.
-Basic EKG interpretation test assigned to them during orientation.

Responsibilities:

• Safely initiate, monitor and discontinue medications as appropriate according to policy and procedure.
• Document all medication administration in a timely, accurate and complete manner.
• Respond to minutes generated from electronic (interactive) medical records in a timely, accurate and complete manner.
• Safely perform patient care activities; reflecting knowledge of anatomical, physiological and psychological principles.,Adapt to changing patient needs; utilize critical thinking skills while prioritizing the patient's needs under time pressure.
• Adjust delivery of care to meet the patient’s changing needs and maintain professional boundaries.
• Adhere to infection control standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $3,600.00 per week
