Responsibilities:

The Certified Caregiver aids residents in tasks that are essential to their daily care and livelihood. A typical day may include responding to emergency calls and situations; documenting and reporting care provided; and transporting residents to various functions or locations. Familiarity and willingness to work with elderly population is essential for this role.

  • Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living such as grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair, and maintaining resident apartments
  • Transport residents within the community to other departments and/or functions.
  • Document and report care provided and resident observations
  • Obtain vital signs, heights and weights.

Requirements:

  • A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents
  • Under the age of 18 must provide proper schoolwork authorization (if applicable)
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in accordance with our company policy and state mandates
  • Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Completes all state educational requirements
  • Receives and maintains First Aid certification and Heimlich Maneuver training, facilitated by the company
