What is the position?

Senior Network Administrators will be responsible for managing various data centers, infrastructure, IT, and business systems. Senior Network Administrator duties include but not limited to providing technical support, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software in addition to providing help desk and remote desktop support, installing and maintain servers and operating systems to include modeling/testing, server and end-user maintenance and training, and documentation of procedures.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related Windows infrastructure.
  • Provide support with cloud environments, windows servers and deployments, network administration, configuration and troubleshooting (NOC).
  • Setup and administration of VPN, Firewalls, and other security applications (SOC).
  • Create documents, FAQs, and/or troubleshooting and security prevention/awareness guides for end-users.
  • Investigate, repair, and recover from hardware or software failures including maintaining and updating disaster recovery procedures in addition to coordinating and communicating with impacted sites and users.
  • Be able to monitor, detect issues, and report on third-party, Windows, and mobile applications and devices.
  • Provide front-line and virtual support to hybrid work environment.
  • Manage equipment inventory and third-party vendor relationships.
  • Deployment or maintenance of VMware, Workspace One, Okta, Jira, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Support Contact Center telephone and customer care core systems.
  • Mentor and train Help Disk Support technicians.
  • Support multiple sites in 8+ states.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines including HIPPA privacy rules and regulations.
  • Additional projects as assigned.

Our Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, and/or related field or equivalent work experience in network administration.
  • Advanced knowledge of one or more of the following systems: network operating systems, WLAN, Cloud environment, network topologies, network hardware, computer operating systems (Windows), routing, switching, data privacy, security, and telecommunication systems.
  • Must have valid driver license and be 18 years of age.
  • Must have the ability to walk, climb, stoop, reach, crawl, crouch, kneel, push, pull and lift a minimum of 65lbs.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication, with particular emphasis during telephone calls, follow-ups, and in-person correspondence.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Must be able to work weekends, when required.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At RI International, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000 - $115,000.
