Job Description: Founded in 2013, the Maine North Atlantic Development Office (MENADO) is a closely affiliated subprogram of the Maine International Trade Center (MITC), itself a public-private partnership of the businesses of the state and the Department of Economic and Community Development.
This position is professional services work leading the work of MENADO, primarily the advancement of foreign direct investment, business development, and increased trade between the State of Maine and the North Atlantic region. The MENADO Director is a key member of the Maine International Trade Center’s leadership team, reporting directly to the President of MITC in their capacity as State Director of International Trade, and collaborates with other state and federal government stakeholders as appropriate.
As one of the most visible MITC and DECD employees, this position requires exceptional business acumen, political savvy, and organizational and strategic agility.

Knowledges, Skills and Abilities Required:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, International Studies, Economics or a related field and (10) years of progressively responsible, professional level experience in business administration or business-related economic development. A background in natural resource based industries is helpful, but not required.

3 site managers; part time role, must be local to Baltimore, MD. If things go well, the person can also possibly support other sites such as Northern, PA.
